This article is spot on! Thank you for covering this major issue that we're battling, down to our local REC who is actively working against us. I appreciate you naming names because it's time that everyone knows who they are.

Can't wait for part 2. I voted for all republicans on my mail-in ballot, even for known rinos because voting for any democrat is just unthinkable to me. If there is a solution to our dilemma I hope it is revealed in part 2 so we can all act on it.

Hi Pete:

There is a solution:

1-Join your county REC and

Find the America First patriots within (they’ll be the ones being ignored)

2-Form a group and get to know each other

3-Take over the REC board and replace with true America First patriot

4-Get ready to endorse in 2024 primary

5-Get ready to elect the right state committeemen

6-Get ready for the blowback

We have reported that RPOF controlled RECs are preventing Trump supporters and America First Republicans from joining their county GOP. One county is setting up a vetting committee to ask the perspective member questions. The RPOF rules provide any Republican can join their county REC as long as they have been a member of the Party for 365 days. The county RECs are violating the RPOF rules.

What was done to Anthony Sabbatini during the primary was criminal and now we have another carpet bagger like Mike Waltz running in the election. I am thoroughly disgusted with the RPOF.

Expand full comment

Ditto. I've supported Sabatini and will support individuals who are America First candidates. I will not support or send money to the RINO/Establishment machine that currently infests the Republican Party of Florida.

Agree 100% - the Republican Establishment shoveling of over million $ to his opponent in Primary in last 3 weeks resulted in his shocking loss.

Guess you like supporting a candidate who lies. Cory Mills is an America First candidate. Since Mills was endorsed by Trump, you don’t support Trump either.

Expand full comment

Robert Manieri, Cory Mills was never an America First candidate. Go peddle that BS elsewhere. You are clearly part of the Republican Establishment hellbent on destroying the Republican Party in Florida.

Trump is about 50/50 on his endorsements. Trusted them at first. Then looked up what they voted for. Seems to be 2 different people advising. Love Trump and what he's done for our country. But 2 things I don't believe him on. Vaccine and endorsements. No one is perfect. Not even the GOAT

Expand full comment

I agree. As much as I like Trump, he (supposedly) endorsed some RINO's, including John Rutherford who has a worse voting record than Liz Cheney. That endorsement came just 3 days before the primary election and was definitely not written by Trump himself. Something is off there.

Expand full comment

Trump is clearly being advised by some shady characters who are likely selling the the endorsements and we doubt Trump is aware of any financial transactions. Frankly, this is on Trump for not surrounding himself with sound, principled advisors. If the Republican Establishment is behind this - and FNR really believes this - then Trump is being set up to implode himself. Trump has learned NOTHING after all he's been through, seen of the RNC and what they are willing to do to him. We have questioned his judgement of people surrounding him for a long time. We questioned why he would chose Pence as running mate. We questioned why both Seb Gorka and Steve Bannon were run out of the WH - even though they were the most trustworthy and brilliant advisors Trump ever had.

Expand full comment

With all due respect Robert. It is a stretch to say that someone doesn't support Trump if they don't support his endorsed candidates. I love Trump, supported Trump and will vote for him again if he decides to run. Using your logic I could deduce that you support Mitch McConnell. After all, he was endorsed by Trump right? America First is much bigger than Trump alone.

Expand full comment

Endorsements don't mean anything. He (or should I say his people) endorsed Bucannan who is far from being anywhere near MAGA. I am sure a deal was made with his people for the endorsement. Notice how many people who said great things about Trump are now bad talking him or separating from him? You wonder why? Yeah they were establishment/RINOs. Check the candidates out for yourselves. Don't trust endorsements unless you are doing the endorsement.

NOBODY has the time or resources to vet every candidate they vote for, ESPECIALLY in this age of lies. The Party system was set up to do this for voters, and it has broken down. Endorsement needs to be a Party duty especially in the primaries--, but it must be based on written promises to support specific platform-based actions.

National gop going for murkowski instead of tshibaka in Alaska. Grrr. Party broke. They want someone they can wheel and deal with.

This is true. But Trump and DeSantis backed Wilton Simpson, so you can't rely on them either. We've got to fix the COUNTY RECs if we want to fix the RPOF and RNC. The REC is the dog that wags the RPOF/RNC tail. But the REC has to get its act together. Let's choose 1-3 issue statements from the Platform (I like the limited gov one) and figure out what actions each elected official can take to "make it so". Then have the REC endorse those primary candidates who agree in writing with those actions.

Expand full comment

Laurel - you really need to look at why he was backed. Check out how much money DeSantis had to pay to Simpson via Campaign etc to get legislation over the line. Simpson has a whole Facebook group dedicated to how bad he is. Your issue thing is ok but if you have only RINO/Establishment voting for it at the FGOP level it will not go through not matter how correct people think it is. It will be buried or they will change the language. Local RECs are getting surprise visits by the head of the FGOP and he is getting booed. Recent was Hillsborough. People need to do research on these candidates because local people to them know what is going on.

Expand full comment

Laurel with all due respect, freedom isn't free as the saying goes. Do you really trust the GOP to tell you who to vote for? Or do you want an actual say on what and who you vote for? There are many people that do this type of research and share it out. There are passionate people in your area that attend school board, county/city commissioner meetings, etc. They keep track of it. So search those people out in your area. Get involved by meeting these people and ensuring that your are on the same Republican path. They will have who to vote for based on their votes in the meetings. There are others who do it at the state and national levels. But if you just want someone to hand you a sheet...well the GOP love your type of voter as they will push establishment/RINO all day long until we change it.

Well said. The weasel Lindsey Graham comes to mind above all others. But there have been many more backstabbing weasels that begged Trump for his endorsement only to trash him after they win their races. The best thing about this situation is that Trump has smoked them out and now WE THE PEOPLE know the real truth. Pierre Delecto RINOS need to be primaried out. If John McCain fought Obama nearly as hard as he fought conservative Republicans, maybe he would have won the election.

Still don't believe they don't care about republicans or 2nd amendment? https://www.gunowners.org/florida-state-reps-aide-caught-tossing-stack-of-newly-delivered-constitutional-carry-petitions-into-trashcan/ threw the petitions in the trash? Yeah...and current RPOF chair wants status quo and not MAGA people or true republicans to demand change. He is clamping down.

Great article from The Florida News Report. The best analysis of the cancer within the Republican Party that I've ever seen. Weak, feckless Republicans who take money from Democrat Communists should be banished from the Party. What a shame that we have such an effective Governor and a such a milquetoast legislature. Thanks Ron DeSantis and Anthony Sabatini. You are a true leaders.
