In my opinion, Ron DeSantis is one of the best governors we have ever had. However, he has consistently surrounded himself with these RINO enablers. The 2018 election is a prime example of this. DeSantis had proven himself an America First candidate while in congress. The Trump Train was taking America by storm, but DeSantis barley won against Andrew Gillum, who ended in rebab, and under a mountain of legal trouble. DeSantis should have won in a landslide, only he came out of the gate, surrounded by the “enablers, or should we just

come out and say it; NEVER TRUMPERS! They derailed his campaign from the get go. It was only until The Donald himself, cleaned house and got the boots on the ground, did DeSantis start pulling ahead. So where is DeSantis now. He has allowed himself, once again, to be insulated by the enablers, from America First

patriots. You would think that the Republican governor, with a Republican controlled legislature, would hear our call to enact the Republican platform. Sadly, either DeSantis, is more establishment than I believe him to be, or the enablers are not letting our concerns cross his desk. How can we get our voices heard way up in the ivory towers in Tallahassee?

Thank you for writing such a spot on article! We need to hold our REC boards and club leaders accountable for their cowardice inability to do what’s right for our state and our country! Vote them out!!!

It’s true. They enable RINOs and expect us to just get along and keep our mouth shut. Nope!! Enough is enough!! See something SAY something OR get OUT of the way!

Voting for the RINO during the General Election seems to be the only course. Oh, you know the thing... lesser of 2 evils. As in running Hyde against Buchanan. Personally, I never believed Hyde was an improvement but it is water over the dam.

However, I totally agree that there needs to be consequences for votes and publicity.

1. A clear mantra of where we stand and what we expect from those we "hire".

2. Volunteers from REC to go to schoolboard, commissioners, watch our Congressmen/women.

3. A monthly scorecard or such

4. Something understandable to the REC at each meeting that is presented on the decisions of the last month and decisions in front of our "reps" in the upcoming month.

5. Publicize. Post on website for REC and in local news/radio/tv.

Ideas....

Another spot on article. I have found that the Florida Republican Assembly is an excellent organization full of America first people who are all diligently working to fix our party. The unfortunate part is that our Volusia REC is doing everything in their power to keep these people from joining. Right now we are outnumbered and many of our candidates and FRA chapter presidents have been personally attacked via mailers from a "PAC" out of Tallahassee. They even went after our County Council Chairman who is not even up for reelection until 2024. Of course they all deny it but ultimately the money comes from the big developers of who they are in bed with.

Bravo! Excellent synopsis of why we are in this fight! Though- this is obvious to those of us in this battle for quite some time in our county RECs. Part 3 - Waking up the members who comply with the status quo, electing a qualified America First Board and activating the political junkies that only show in the post work last hour for flag waving, photos and fun events.

In Sarasota County is the City of North Port. For a second election in a row, staunch dems - except in No Port most leaders are actually scammers - have been registered Republican, then the Dems put that Republican on their sample voting ballot and the Republicans do the same - both county partisan parties, in other words, place a local candidate on their sample voting ballot. In 2020 it was a Democrat who was a Perkins waitress named "Debbie" McDowell and this year it is someone called Phil Stokes who less than two years ago named President Trump a POS, Douche Bag. According to the local Club, North Port Republican Club, this passes for conservative ideals, it's just that stokes didn't realize he is a conservative. Both of these individuals, Miss Debbie, as she prefers to be called, and stokes, are deeply in bed with special interests. North Port is a nonpartisan race but the no port club "convinced" stokes that he is "unifying" the citizens. So you are absolutely correct about these "club" presidents and boards. The Vice President, Terry Angsley, is state committeewoman and put out an endorsement for stokes but removed that she is a Republican and removed the actual office she holds. Thanks for this fantastic article.

Thank you for giving a name to the Enablers. A new coalition where Establishment, RINO and Enablers are not welcome is in order. You’re a soothsayer, thank you.

Names please. I suspected I knew to whom this report refers but from the comments here it could apply to many and I am now not so sure. The author’s name and those providing the county reports to the author ought to be stated as well. Don’t just be a conservative, be a courageous conservative. The Florida News Report’s credibility relies on it. I posted and shared Part 1 and will do the same with part 2 pending response here or direct to me. WOW! Tell it like it is! I voted for James Shaw for AG Commissioner in the primary. I will not vote for Wilton Simpson if he took money from commie democrat operatives. I don't think it will make much difference at this point. The Dem can't be any worse than the Nikki we have now.

Love your comment, Terry! Thanks for standing firm and letting the Republican Party Platform be your guide.

Personally and respectfully disagree with this. https://defendourunion.org/candidates/why-you-need-to-vote-for-rinos

Voting for Simpson will be the most awful thing for sure. Shaw was/is amazing. The Democrat will be worse than Simpson. A Democrat is hell bent on destroying our country and supporting Biden. Simpson will have to be much more discreet. I know it is terrible logic, but the Primary is where we fight tooth and nail. Not now. Establishment doesn't care if it is the Dem or Simpson. You aren't hurting them. You can call me an enabler but I don't think so. If I was doing that in the Primary yes... In the general it is a chess move.

I generally agree with what you're saying, especially with regard to the primary . Speaking for myself, I cannot support a sell-out. The AG Commisar race is a state race and the effect of it going dem is not as bad as say Rubio vs. Demings. I don't like Rubio or Scott because of their support of the worst gun control bill ever passed in Florida. As much as I don't want to support Rubio because of it, I cannot allow Demings to take the seat. That race is just too important right now. Wilton Simpson is a sell-out and in my book that's just as bad as any commie lib democrat.

I'm old enough to remember the last time the Republicans won the majority in Congress after 35/40 years out of power. And then the Republican "Leader" Trent Lott wanted to share the power with the dems. I'm hoping for a red wave. We need more strong America First republicans to keep the Trent Lott's from squandering the peoples mandate. It is sh-t like this that makes people think, why bother.

Waking people up is ALWAYS a good idea. Finding truth is always good. To each their decision on what to do with the truth.. For me, I find strength knowing that although I am going to gag, hold my nose and vote for a RINO, that I am not alone and we are patriots coming together to not simply gripe but do something. Potentially we can share organizations we trust--such as Defend Florida/ Defend Our Union, Escambia County REC, Election Integrity Committee, the Republican Liberty Caucus, and the great Precinct Strategy.--We each have our bubble of passion, time, and influence. We HAVE to find each other and now is the time.

No matter of the outcome of tomorrow's election we need to approach the results with blinders off. The article here, sadly will only reach so many. But it is a beginning... And in the beginning...
