Someone just forwarded an email they received and we wanted to share it to equip you all as you watch the Speaker fight today.

Yesterday, I saw a post of FB with yet another Republican parroting the Fear First leadership points of the Establishment Cabal.
“If we don’t stop fighting, we look bad.”
“If we don’t stop fighting, the Dems win!”
“If we don’t stop fighting, we could get someone worse.”
I have another one: if we DO stop fighting, we get business as usual.
And we already know what business as usual looks like:
funding the J6 Committee
funding LGBTQ+ in our public schools (and shipping this evil ideology overseas as foreign aid)
a 1.7 trillion dollar bill that funds programs and nonprofits that reduce our national (and personal) sovereignty in favor of global programs that advance ESG, the Green New Deal, and election interference
politicians refusing to hold an independent investigative committee to expose the weaponization of our 3-letter federal agencies.
sealed J6 reports
no accountability for Fauci et al responsible for their gain of function activity and the lies that led to mass death and health issues across the world
Our liberties and our way of life is disappearing in our life time as we continue business as usual.
Make no mistake. This fight is the same fight happening all across the country.
It's a fight to determine if the Republican Party going to serve the Establishment Elite in DC or will the Republican Party use its political capital to defend liberty and protect the American people.
The people fighting the McCarthy decision are part of the House Freedom Caucus, with Scott Perry of PA’s 10th District as Chair.
Let’s let Perry represent his side by looking at the deal they offered McCarthy in exchange for their support.
From @RepScottPerry
“While [McCarthy] claimed to offer fair and equal representation for conservatives on all House committees, when we provided specific names willing to serve on each-as he requested- he balked.
We asked for firm commitments on concrete policies for the benefit of the American People. When asked to promise votes on (1) a balanced budget, (2) the Fair Tax Act (3) the Texas Border Plan, and (4) term limits for Members of Congress, he refused.
We requested transparent, accountable votes on individual earmarks that would require two-thirds support to pass, and to ensure that all amendments to cut spending would be allowed floor consideration. He dismissed it.
We demanded that he cease his efforts to defeat competitive candidates in open Republican primaries. He denied it.
Kevin McCarthy had the opportunity to be Speaker of the House. He rejected it."
If anyone tells you the 20 ought to submit, let them know submission isn’t the way forward.
But negotiation, representation, and collaboration can be: when it’s a win for America and the America people.
Call these 20 Courageous Warriors fighting for your freedom and tell them to hold the line.

I don't need to hear what a pundit has to say to understand what this Speakership fight is all about. McCarthy has ignored some of our most basic needs which consist of all the above factors and more. So fight on. Two days is nothing in the scheme of things. Two months, maybe something to be concerned about, but politics takes time. I've heard mentioned several times that the newly elected officials brought their sons and/or daughters out to see them get sworn in and it's so sad.
Really?? We're talking about a country of over 330M citizens yet we should feel uncomfortable because little Susie had to wait or miss her dad getting sworn in. Lighten up, folks. We've got many more issues to truly worry about. It's not going to kill you to see the sausage being made every so often.
We, The People are tired of business as usual. I applaud those 20 representatives for having the courage to stand up. Kat Cammack endorsing McCarthy as speaker was sickening to watch.
