Isn't it interesting that the Chair of the Manatee REC took it upon himself to endorse a candidate running for school board using his official email when there are two Republicans running in the race? The Assembly was consulted nor voted for the endorsement. The candidate endorsed was appointed but wasn't living in the district at the time. However, the opponent has been living in the area the whole time. Not sure if he was invited to speak at the REC. Dirty Politics? Ethics Violation?
