The August 23rd Republican Primary
If you stay home, you will be stuck with the kinds of Republicans who hate the Florida First Agenda. An FNR Editorial (edited 07/03/2022)
The Florida First agenda is still wildly popular with the Republican anti-Establishment in this great state…. even if they haven’t yet caught on that not all Republicans are the same.
There is a deepening divide within the Florida Republican Party - the RINO Establishment versus the America First, Florida First Conservative Republicans.
For far too long we have elected Republicans who appear spineless once in office. But are they really spineless?
In Tallahassee, lawmakers seem to get their donors’ legislation passed while passing over Florida First bills.
What’s really scary is that many of their donors aren’t Republicans.
The secret revealed from their Political Action Committees show that Marxist Democrat donors seem to really love the RINO Establishment - so much so they donate MILLIONS of dollars to Florida Republicans.
In turn, it appears those lawmakers are motivated by their donors’ interests not the interest of the People of Florida who elected them. That’s not spineless. That’s called something very different.
What can be done?
Vote. This month on July 14th Vote by Mail begins, kicking off the Republican Primary Election. This is the last and only chance Republican voters have to vote out the RINOs and usher in conservative Republican for some real representation.
Our biggest obstacle is ourselves.
Republican Primaries only average 30% or lower voter turnout rate.
With Florida elected Republicans taking as much Democrat donor money as Republican donor money, we are being run over by Democrats by Proxy. Democrat donors flood Republican candidates and incumbents’ PACs (Political Action Committees) with what appears to be either of two goals:
To kill Republican Party Platform bills - for example, bills strengthening gun rights like Constitutional Carry.
To pass legislation protecting their industry at the expense of Florida citizens - for example, Big Sugar - Florida Senate President Wilton Simpson supported a bill to expand Florida’s Right to Farm Law to shield Big Sugar from lawsuits over particle emissions to the detriment of nearby smaller family-owned farms.
If elected Republicans are doing the bidding of Democrats, that means they are not doing the bidding of their electorate. Democrats —— are the Party that defunds the police, wants infanticide in every state and supports not only gun control but gun confiscation have adopted the dangerous Marxist ideology. Their Marxist ideology is being advanced and they will use elected Republicans to do it.
There’s a lot at stake for you and your family.
The proof is in which bills the Florida Legislature has ignored in the last several years —Constitutional Carry and heartbeat legislation which would limit abortion far more than a 15 week ban would, and which bills they have passed — the Florida Red Flag law, written by Florida Senate President Wilton Simpson mentioned above, and who is currently running for Florida Commissioner of Agriculture, ironically a position that puts him over all concealed carry permitting. Florida Senate and House leadership’s actions toward many of the bills look more like Democrat in actions - not Republicans.
Simpson’s legislation, which is an egregious assault on Florida citizens’ gun rights, deprives lawful gun owners due process and forces them to spend thousands of dollars in legal fees in order to have their seized firearms returned. Since being enacted in 2018, over 2500 Floridians have had their guns confiscated because of Simpson’s Red Flag law. Simpson took $100,000 from Democrat billionaire, Robert Rubenstein, who funds the organization “Ban Assault Weapons Now.” Rubenstein lives in a gated compound in Miami, protected and guarded by men who….. carry guns.
The August 23rd Republican Primary is for you to decide what you want the Republican Party to look like - RINOs or Conservatives.
